I like pizza, but, I don’t love it. I find it interesting when I talk to people who say they could eat pizza everyday of their lives and be really happy. Not me.

I remember back to my days in college. We’d decide to get fancy and go to Pizza Hut, sit down and order a great big, fully loaded pizza. That was the first time I realized that eating pizza was tiring. So much chewing, so much dough. Really tiring.

And frozen pizza from the grocery store was really bad. But, I’m here to say, frozen pizza finally has a winner – Newman’s Own. Now, I’m a big fan of all things Paul Newman. Partly because we went to the same junior high and high school – I even had one of his books in junior high – and partly because… all of his products are just so damn good! I buy them all; Popcorn, salad dressing, pasta sauce, juices. All fantastic.

The pizza – phenomenal. The first good thing about it is the ingredients. Most Newman’s Own products are made with natural ingredients. We can all use more natural ingredients and fewer additives and preservatives. Second, its thin crust. So, I feel like i’m eating pepperoni and cheese and onions instead of dough with 1 or 2 pepperoni’s attached.

And third, it only takes 10 minutes to make. It’s also easy to gauge the level of soft and chewy to crispy and crunchy. Whatever your preference, you can make it happen within a window of about 3 minutes.

I also want to mention that most of the proceeds for Newman’s Own products go to charity through his foundation. I can’t ask for more than that.

And just to be sure I wasn’t losing my perspective, I went and got a Pizza Hut thin crust pizza for comparison sake. The Newman’s Own was better in my opinion.

So, Newman’s Own frozen pizza it is. Gets an A from me.

Try it… you’ll like it…
